Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to the greatest artist of all time, Andy Warhol (August 6, 1928 - February 22, 1987). Andy broke all the rules subsequently changing the way world thought about art. If he were alive today we would be best friends, I know it. I just love him.

"I suppose I have a really loose interpretation of 'work' because I think that just being alive is so much work at something you don’t always want to do. Being born is like being kidnapped. And then sold into slavery. People are working every minute. The machinery is always going. Even when you sleep."

Daily Dose of Tim

As you know, I am obsessed with Tim Walker. So here is my inspiration of the day: balloons!

Remember when my soul mate, Andy Warhol, used silver Mylar helium-filled balloons to make his balloon-filled room? Now everyone is following in his footsteps. And I must say, balloons make the most fantastic props. Plus, they make me happy.

Here is a picture from Tim's Dior campaign.
