Transit Authority Figures
In school we studied Massimo Vignelli, a genius and designer, who in 1972 designed the NYC subway map. Since then, I have loved to look at subway maps. They're beautiful. Here are some "fake" maps I found.
"The posters are definitely meant to inspire. Yes - this is art, but its also about promoting a healthier, greener way of living. Perhaps if everyone saw how convenient (and beautiful) local transportation is, they would build it - or at least use it more."
