As my friends and family know, I am obsessed with magazines. And GQ is particularly close to my heart. So I absolutely fell in love when I saw this classic cover from November 1966 GQ by Dong Kingman. Here he immortalizes the Plaza Hotel, in a very New York scene with a man walking his dachshund. (Dachshunds are also very close to my heart). Magazines are art and can be hung on walls as such. I love to collect prints of classic covers - such as this one - frame them and hang them. This one is my latest fancy. Perhaps I will put my recent birthday checks to good use.
