Okay, so I am in a tizzy because I am so delighted to see the documentary film The September Issue. It premiered at Sundance on January 16. And the reviews are out! The September 2007 issue of Vogue magazine weighed nearly five pounds and was the single largest issue of a magazine ever published. The September Issue tells the story of legendary Vogue's editor in chief and my personal hero, Anna Wintour, and her team of editors creating the issue and ruling the world of fashion.
According to WWD, A&E will air the highly anticipated film sometime this year - date to be determined. So if you could not make it to Sundance, no need to worry. You can catch it on the tube.
The film was directed and produced by R.J. Cutler. Bravo, R.J., bravo. A standing ovation!
