wild things

I saw this picture and thought it was so cute. I want a hoodie like that! It reminded me of "Where The Wild Things Are", the children's book by Maurice Sendak.

They are making a cinema adaptation of the book, and I can't wait to see it - directed by Spike Jonze and music by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's. Above are some stills from the film. Click here to watch the trailer!

Take a lesson from Vogue Paris and change up your cover. Your template of boring sans serif fonts has gotten a bit stale. It's so refreshing to see more avant-garde typefaces on covers, like the one of Scarlett's name. It's also delightful to see intriguing photographs chosen for covers, unlike your terribly predictable shots of erect celebrities posing outdoors. Well-done, Vogue Paris. And Vogue, you need to step it up.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Elton John (March 25, 1947). The English singer-songwriter/pianist is 62 years-old today! I have been a fan of Elton since I can remember. My mom would play his cassette tapes in the car on the way to school, on the weekends, etc. I love his sunnies! He has the best collection of eyewear.
